UWSC Celebrates Second Largest Campaign in the Organization's History
United Way of St. Charles (UWSC) celebrated the success of its 2025 fundraising campaign during its annual Victory Celebration held April 9 at Ormond Manor.

United Way of St. Charles (UWSC) announced the return of Trista Brazan as campaign and communications manager.
Brazan previously served UWSC from 2009 to 2012. She later advanced her career at St. John United Way, where she worked as executive director from 2012 to 2015. In 2015, she stepped away from her role to care for her medically fragile child.
In a powerful demonstration of community support and child safety advocacy, Blessed to Be a Blessing, Louisiana State Police and United Way of St. Charles partnered Feb. 28 to host a car seat giveaway for families in St. Charles Parish.

Children from infants to 14 years old are eligible to participate and must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

United Way of St. Charles and Blessed to Be a Blessing, with community partners, will host its 2025 Thanksgiving Turkey giveaway.
The first 300 families will receive a free Turkey and trimmings. The first 100 participants will also receive a free ham. An ID or utility bill is required to receive the supplies.
2025 Battle for the Paddle
With 266 teams cooking jambalaya, gumbo, or pastalaya, United Way of St. Charles celebrated our 2025 fundraising campaign at our 24th annual Battle for the Paddle. The event was held Thursday, October 2nd at the Edward A. Dufresne Community Center in Luling, with live music provided by Ryan Foret & the Foret Tradition.
