United Way of St. Charles (UWSC), in partnership with Catholic Charities Archdiocese of New Orleans (CCANO), announced
plans to implement a Workforce Development and Small Business Training Initiative aimed at equipping residents of St. Charles
Parish with the tools, knowledge and confidence needed to secure employment and build sustainable income through
entrepreneurship.
Participants will receive a complimentary meal at each session, along with printed training materials and handouts for
continued use. Attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in a raffle featuring eight gift cards per session to
encourage engagement and retention.
Each session will include structured instruction, interactive activities, and open discussion with opportunities for
questions and answers. Sessions are standalone and do not build on each other. Participants can pick and choose
which sessions to attend. Attendance at all sessions is not required.
