UWSC Celebrates Second Largest Campaign in the Organization's History

United Way of St. Charles (UWSC) celebrated the success of its 2025 fundraising campaign during its annual Victory Celebration held April 9 at Ormond Manor. The organization announced a total of $3,781,540 raised to support programs and services that improve lives across St. Charles Parish.

The 2025 campaign brought together 29 workplace campaigns from across the parish, demonstrating strong community commitment and generosity. Leading this year’s efforts were top-performing campaigns from Shell Norco, Valero St. Charles Refinery, Dow – St. Charles Operations, Entergy Waterford 3, St. Charles Parish Public Schools, Bayer, St. Charles Parish Government, Bunge, St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office, Zachry and Cornerstone Chemical Company.

UWSC also recognized its top individual donors: Tammy Little, Rochelle Touchard, Leslie Sullivan and Loyd Bourgeois for their outstanding contributions.

“We are deeply grateful to every donor, volunteer and partner who made this campaign a success,” said John Dias, executive director of United Way of St. Charles. “This achievement reflects the power of a community coming together with a shared purpose. Every dollar raised represents hope, opportunity and a stronger future for our neighbors.  The impact of this campaign will be felt throughout our community in meaningful and lasting ways.”

Special appreciation was extended to the 2025 campaign co-chairs—Loyd Bourgeois, Gerry Flood, Darlene Santana, Jenny Mayeaux and Anthony Ayo—for their leadership and dedication throughout the campaign.

Funds raised during the campaign will support UWSC’s network of partner agencies and initiatives focused on education, financial stability and health across St. Charles Parish.
