United Way of St. Charles awarded LIVE UNITED scholarships to ten St. Charles Parish graduating high school seniors on May 2, 2025.
The recipients received a one-time cash award in recognition of their commitment to community service and their positive impact on the St. Charles Parish community through their leadership and service. The award is intended to help defray educational expenses for attending a post-secondary program of their choice.
“United Way of St. Charles is proud to honor the recipients of our LIVE UNITED Scholarship. We are very happy to be able to support these students who have made such an effort to give back to their community,” stated Kacy Kernan, UWSC Director of Community Impact.
LIVE UNITED scholarships were awarded to six students from Destrehan High School. The students who received scholarships from Destrehan High School include Reese Napolitano, Grace Rome, Miladi Benedict, Corinne Mitchell, Kaitlyn Housewright, and Avery Lagarde.
The United Way of St. Charles Staff and Board of Directors congratulate these scholarship recipients and all of the 2025 high school graduates.
United Way of St. Charles is a nonprofit organization that works to create lasting changes in St. Charles Parish by funding agencies and developing programs targeting education, income, and health.
