2025 Battle for the Paddle
With 266 teams cooking jambalaya, gumbo, or pastalaya, United Way of St. Charles celebrated our 2025 fundraising campaign at our 24th annual Battle for the Paddle. The event was held Thursday, October 2nd at the Edward A. Dufresne Community Center in Luling, with live music provided by Ryan Foret & the Foret Tradition.
Honored at Battle for the Paddle were this year’s winners of the “Ray Tyree Memorial Citizenship Award," In recognition of individuals whose volunteerism, outstanding service, and dedication have made a significant contribution to the community:
