The United Way of St. Charles annual fall campaign is held during the months of October through December.  The campaign officially kicked off with the 2009 Battle for the Paddle Gumbo & Jambalaya Cook-off on October 1, 2009 from 4 to 7:30 p.m. at the West Bank Bridge Park in Luling. 

UWSC recognized its 10 "Pacesetter" companies who held their fundraising campaigns prior to the official kickoff.  The "Pacesetter" companies include:  Valero, Dow, Entergy Waterford 3, Monsanto, OxyChem, Cytec, Hexion, ADM, J&K Office Supplies and Quality Janitorial. UWSC thanks these businesses for their hard work and support for the United Way.
