Enter the Battle, and win the Paddle!

 This is a  fun, family event that invites family, business, and industry teams from across the region to compete for the titles of
"Best Jambalaya" and "Best Gumbo".

Any team who wants to try to win the paddle is invited!

Registration: $150 through Thursday, September 29, 2016

Important Parking & Traffic Notice for Thursday, October 6th: Battle for the Paddle

Parking:

Motorists are encouraged to park in the parking lots off of Judge Edward Dufresne Parkway. These lots include:

o Satellite Center Parking Lot

o R.K. Smith Parking Lot

o SCP Public Schools Maintenance Facility Parking Lot

o SCP Performing Arts Center Parking Lot

o SCP Public Schools Central Office

Handicapped parking is available in the lot adjacent to the festival.

*Please note, vehicles are not allowed to park along the shoulder of LA18 (River Road).*

 

Shuttles:

A FREE shuttle service will be provided from 3pm to 8pm along Judge Edward Dufresne Parkway. Shuttles will pick up from the below locations and drop off at LA18 (River Road). Riders will be returned to their vehicles upon leaving the event. The return shuttle bus stop is located at the intersection of Judge Edward Dufresne Parkway & LA 18 (River Road).

Pickup Locations:

o Satellite Center Parking Lot

o SCP Public Schools Maintenance Facility Parking Lot

o SCP Performing Arts Center Parking Lot

Traffic:

Motorists should expect extreme traffic delays when travelling along LA18 (River Road) to I-310. When possible, it is advised to utilize the alternate routes of US90 to I-310 or LA3127 to I-310.
