United Way of St. Charles is partnering with the St. Charles Community Health Center and Blessed to be a Blessing to hold a Back To School event to provide free school supplies to local children.
The Back To School event is being held on Saturday, August 6th, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at St. Anthony Outreach, 737 Paul Maillard Road in Luling.
Free backpacks and school supplies are being provided to the first 525 children in attendance. A parent or guardian must be present with their child(ren) to receive supplies.
In addition to the school supplies, the event is also featuring free food, health screening, giveaways, information and resources.
