United Way of St. Charles Seeking Books,
Volunteers for Children's Book Swap
United Way of St. Charles is hosting a children’s book swap on Saturday, June 20, 2015 from 10am-1pm at the United Way office in Luling.
In order to have a variety of books for kids to choose from on the day of the swap, the organization is requesting donations of new or gently used children’s books appropriate for early childhood through fifth grade reading levels prior to the event.
Book donations can be dropped off at the United Way of St. Charles office located at 13207 River Road in Luling, Monday through Thursday 8-4 and Friday 8-noon, leading up to the event. Anyone planning to attend the book swap who would like to donate beforehand will receive a swap voucher to bring back the day of the event.
United Way is also seeking volunteers of all ages to assist with the Children’s Book Swap. Anyone interested in volunteering should contact Volunteer Coordinator Kelsey Matthews at 985.331.9063 or email@example.com.
The United Way of St. Charles Children’s Book Swap is made possible through funding by Monsanto.
