Over 150 parents and children attended the Success By 6 Summer Kickoff on June 12, 2010, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the St. Charles Parish Community Health Center.

United Way of St. Charles partnered with the St. Charles Community Health Center and other community agencies to provide this fun, educational event that featured health and vision screenings, immunizations, parenting workshops, cooking demonstrations and other resources for parents.

Children enjoyed an array of activities such as face painting, finger printing, Teddy Bear Clinic, games and much more.

Attendees also won door prizes including a laptop, iPod and a stroller/car seat travel system.  There was free food and giveaways for all who attended.
