United Way Selects Local Representatives to Lead Annual Campaign
Representatives from Shell/Motiva and Entergy Waterford 3 are ser ving as chairmen for the 2010 United Way of St. Charles Fall Campaign.
Snookie Faucheux, representing Shell/Motiva, is serving as this year's campaign chair. Serving as the co-chair is Odie Tucker from Entergy Waterford 3.
"I have volunteered with United Way of St. Charles in different ways for many years. I truly believe in the work they do in the St. Chalres Parish community and am excited to serve as this year's campaign chair," said Faucheux.
United Way of St. Charles conducts a fundraising campaign every fall to develop resources that help support agencies and programs providing direct services in St. Charles Parish.
The United Way Campaign is held during the months of October through December. The campaign officiall kicks off with the 2010 Battle for the Paddle Gumbo & Jambalaya Cook-off on October 7, 2010, from 4 to 7:30 p.m. at the West Bank Bridge Park.
